Why I'm Running
I’m running for Philadelphia Register of Wills because the families who built our neighborhoods deserve a government that helps them protect what they’ve worked generations to build. I grew up in Germantown, raised in public schools, libraries, recreation centers, and by neighbors who looked out for one another. Through my work in housing, community organizing, and City Council, I’ve seen how difficult navigating inheritance, probate, and property ownership can be, especially after losing a loved one. I’m running to make the Register of Wills more accessible and responsive, expand access to wills and estate planning, and strengthen efforts to resolve tangled titles so more working families can protect their homes and generational wealth. I’m committed to delivering for the city that made me.
